Teacher's Guide to Parent Communication

Message parents, respond to inquiries, and send class updates.

Access Teacher Inbox

Click "Communication" in the sidebar. You'll see your inbox with messages from parents and school administrators.

Reply to parent messages

Click on any message to view the conversation. Type your reply and send. All messages are stored for reference.

Send a new message

Click "Compose" to start a new conversation. Select the parent from your class roster and type your message.

Share class updates

Use the Announcements feature to send updates to all parents of a specific class at once — ideal for homework reminders, field trip info, or schedule changes.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Respond to parent messages within 24 hours to maintain good communication.
  • Use announcements for class-wide updates instead of individual messages.
  • Keep messages professional and focused on the student's academic progress.
