Account Security & MFA
Protect your school account with multi-factor authentication and security best practices.
Access Security Settings
Click your profile avatar in the top right corner and select "Profile". Navigate to the Security tab to see all security options.
Enable Multi-Factor Authentication
Toggle on MFA in your security settings. You will be guided to set up an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy). Scan the QR code and enter the verification code to complete setup.
Update your password
Use a strong, unique password with at least 8 characters including uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols. Click "Change Password" in the security settings to update.
Review active sessions
Check the Sessions section to see all devices where your account is logged in. End any sessions you don't recognize.
Organization-wide policies (Admin)
Admins can enforce MFA for all users from Settings → Security. When enabled, every user must set up MFA before accessing the platform.
Tips & Best Practices
- Save your MFA recovery codes in a secure location in case you lose access to your authenticator app.
- Never share your password or verification codes with anyone.
- Review your active sessions regularly and sign out of unused devices.
- Organization admins should consider enforcing MFA for all staff members.
