How to Set Up Subjects and Curriculum
Create subjects, assign them to classes, and configure weekly hours.
Go to Subjects
Click "Subjects" in the sidebar to see all subjects in your school.
Create a subject
Click "Add Subject" and enter the subject name (e.g., "Mathematics", "Arabic Language", "Science"). Add an optional description and color code.
Assign to grade levels
When creating a subject, select which grade levels it applies to. A subject can span multiple grades.
Assign teachers
For each class, assign a teacher to the subject. Go to the class page → Manage Teachers and select the teacher for each subject.
Set weekly hours
Navigate to Scheduling → Weekly Hours. For each class and subject, set the number of periods per week. This feeds into the AI scheduling engine for timetable generation.
